About HAYA

The “Hyderabadi Australian Youth Association” commonly known as the “HAYA” was founded in 2020 as a Not-for-Profit organisation with a passion to prioritize and promote health and wellbeing of ourselves and others in the community. The HAYA community has its home and is primarily based in Fawkner although we have families from various suburbs in Melbourne and our roots from the Hyderabad city of the Indian sub-continent. COVID-19 has been major challenge to all in our community and has had a major impact on our younger generations. We as a community have risen to the challenge and have demonstrated courage and resilience especially when the going gets tough and setup up plans and activities for our kids (subject to COVID restrictions).

At HAYA we value life hence seek new and diverse relationships and opportunities with local council and communities to learn, develop new experiences and to bring smarter solutions to the challenges we had faced during 2020.
